Tim Drewes, owner of T.L. Drewes Renovating and Remodeling, standing next to the company van

If you're planning a remodel anywhere in Bucks County, the hard part usually isn't the design. It's finding one contractor who can carry the whole job — the framing, the plumbing, the wiring, the tile and the finish work — without you having to schedule four separate trades and hope they show up in the right order.

That's what T.L. Drewes has done for twenty years. Kitchens, bathrooms, basements and full interior renovations for homeowners from Yardley and Newtown to Warrington and Richboro, and across the river into Princeton, Hamilton and Lawrence Township.

    Kitchen Remodeling in Bucks County

A kitchen remodel is the project that touches every trade at once — cabinetry, counters, plumbing, electrical, tile and flooring, often with a wall coming out. It's also the project most likely to go sideways when those trades belong to different companies.

We handle all of it. You get one schedule, one point of contact, and one person accountable for the finish.

What a kitchen project with us includes:
    • Custom cabinet installation and refacing
    • Countertop replacement — granite, quartz, butcher block and solid surface
    • Full layout redesign and space planning
    • Backsplash and feature tile
    • Flooring — hardwood, tile and luxury vinyl plank
    • Sink, faucet and fixture upgrades
    • Lighting design, under-cabinet lighting and electrical work
    • Open-concept wall removal and structural modification
    • Appliance fitting and gas line work

Serving: Kitchen remodels completed across Lower and Central Bucks — Yardley, Newtown, Langhorne, Levittown, Richboro and Warrington.

    Bathroom Remodeling in Bucks County

Bathrooms are small rooms with a lot going on behind the walls. Move a shower two feet and you're into drainage, venting and framing — which is why bathroom projects are where inexperienced contractors most often run over on both time and budget.

Twenty years of them means we know what's behind the tile in a 1950s Levittown rancher and what's behind it in a 1990s Newtown colonial, and we price accordingly rather than discovering it halfway through.

What a bathroom project with us includes:
    • Walk-in shower installation and tub-to-shower conversion
    • Bathtub replacement and freestanding soaking tubs
    • Custom tile flooring and full wall surrounds
    • Vanity, sink and countertop replacement
    • Toilet installation and plumbing rough-in
    • Ventilation, lighting and electrical
    • Accessibility work — grab bars, curbless showers, walk-in tubs
    • Full gut renovation and layout changes
    • Waterproofing and subfloor repair

Serving: Bathroom renovations for homeowners in Fairless Hills, Holland, Southampton, Bensalem and Morrisville, and across the river in Ewing Township and Hamilton, NJ.

    Whole-Home Renovations and Additions

Some projects don't stop at one room. A finished basement, new flooring throughout, a room addition, or a full interior overhaul before you move in — these are jobs where sequencing matters more than any single trade.

Because every trade is in-house, we can run them in the right order without waiting on someone else's calendar. That's usually the difference between a renovation that takes eight weeks and one that takes sixteen.

What a whole-home project with us includes:
    • Full interior renovation and room additions
    • Basement finishing — framing, egress, moisture control and finish work
    • Flooring throughout — hardwood, tile, carpet and LVP
    • Interior and exterior carpentry, trim and custom built-ins
    • Window and door installation
    • Drywall, painting and finish carpentry
    • Plumbing and electrical upgrades
    • Living room, bedroom and home office conversions

Serving: Full renovations across Bucks County and Mercer County — including Princeton, Lawrence Township, Newtown, Warrington and Richboro.

Not every project is a renovation. We also take on individual trade work across Bucks County — the same crew, the same standards, without the full remodel.

    Recent Work

Twelve years of before-and-afters would fill a book. Here's a sample of recent projects across the county.

Why Homeowners Across Bucks County Choose Us

    Twenty years, one owner.

Tim Drewes has run this business for two decades. The person who quotes your job is the person who manages it — not a salesperson who hands you off.

    Every trade under one contractor.

Carpentry, plumbing, electrical, tile and painting all in-house. One schedule, one invoice, one person accountable when something needs fixing.

Licensed, insured and registered in Pennsylvania.

General liability and workers' compensation coverage — certificates available before work starts, not after you ask twice.

    Written estimates, written change orders.

You get the price, the scope and the schedule in writing before anyone starts. If something changes mid-project, it goes through a signed change order — never a verbal agreement you find on the final invoice.

    We know these houses.

Bucks County housing stock runs from 1950s Levittown ranchers to century-old Newtown farmhouses to new construction in Warrington. Each one hides different problems behind the walls. Twenty years here means we've already found most of them.

    Free in-home consultations.

We come out, look at the space, listen to what you're picturing, and tell you honestly what it takes. No charge, and no obligation to book.

    Common Questions

How long will my project take?

A straightforward bathroom is usually 2–3 weeks. A full kitchen runs 4–6. Whole-home renovations depend on scope, but you'll get a schedule with your estimate, not after work starts.

Do I need a permit, and who pulls it?

Most structural, electrical and plumbing work requires a permit, and requirements vary by township across Bucks County. We handle the permit process as part of the job.

    Are you licensed and insured?

Yes — registered in Pennsylvania, with general liability and workers' compensation coverage. We'll provide certificates before work begins.

Can I stay in the house during the work?

For a single bathroom or kitchen, usually yes. For a whole-home renovation it depends on which systems are down and for how long — we'll be straight with you about that at the estimate.

How do payments and deposits work?

Pennsylvania caps deposits at one third of the contract price, and we work within that. The rest is tied to progress milestones set out in the contract.

What if we want to change something mid-project?

Changes go through a written change order signed by both sides, with the cost and schedule impact stated before the work happens.
